The staff was really and very nice.
The staff, the cleanliness, the bedroom ! The swimming pool is inside The bathroom, the bath is really old !
The rooms were excellent but the view not so good even from the 17th floor. It is a Business mans hotel. The restaurant in teh lobby area was fanastic. One of the best steaks I have ever had. We booked Club rooms however the club louge was closed for 5 days. The staff in the lobby louge were not on the ball, you were waiting for at least 5 minutes before the served you.
Generally ok, but there are better hotels at better rates. Rooms are extremely warm, airco is barely working. Breakfast room is a little crampy and the quality of the food is so so.
The facilities including the swimming pool and gym. All the staff, especially the temporary business unit, were very helpful and friendly and I could not fault them. I had nothing negative to say at all
approximately a 5 minute walk to the nearest station. convenient if taking subway. convenience store across the road. PC room near station. shopping strip close by. airport bus that takes you directly to the hotel to and from ICN airport. most taxi drivers know where the hotel is so it's easy to go back, only a few didn't know so you just told them the station name and they'd take you there. hotel staff were very friendly, helpful and great at communicating in english. would stay here again especially for the location a tad pricey
Hard to think of anything The hotel is billed as 5 star which following a 10 day stay I think is way off the mark. The rooms are small, the décor was very tired (wallpaper poorly patched) and there was thick dust throughout. Even the bath mats / towels are worn out. The restaurants (and bars) were excessively priced even were it a 5 star hotel. The reception staff were pretty incompetent though the concierge service was very good. Overall this is a very disappointing hotel.
This hotel was sold as five star. By International standards it falls well short of this claim. It is not enough to have a fancy lobby (or in this case an ostentatious one) if the rooms are grubby and tired.
good service,best room condition no
The Guest Relation Officer. The check-in desk and lobby bar's service staff's attitude and poor knowledge of their chosen profession. Totally non hospitable and possess sub zero level of command of English, both in terms of spoken and comprehension.
the loby and the rest room none
This is the best long-term stay place in Seoul -- particularly as it is located on top of the biggest mall, near great supermarket, etc. Only stayed a week -- but it was nice to be able to store the food, snacks, and drinks -- and consume them with proper dishes, glasses, etc. Not as fancy as some other hotels, but quiet -- more kids running around.
Location is perfect. Much within walking distance, but the Seoul Metro is right outside the front entrance. Interior design of the room was wonderful, with more than adequate amenities. Complimentary shuttle service was much appreciated after a long stay. The photos and reviews set high expectations, but the experience was even better. After stays in B&Bs, corporate apartments, luxury hotels, and everything in between across Europe and the US, Park Hyatt Seoul is at the top of my list of places to stay. Be sure to try the breakfast and buffet. It isn't cheap, but it's well worth the price. Service and staff, location, cleanliness, amenities, size, and decor all get five stars. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Seoul. Only (minor) complaint is the elevator. You must go to the lobby at the top, transfer elevators, swipe your room key, then go down. Every time we left the room we would accidentally try to go down when you must go up to leave.
Staff very helpful and speak English. Rooms are very nice and comfortable. Great bathroom and showers. Good location right by an airport bus stop. The only negative was that on once of the three days I was there they did not get to clean my room until after 5pm. But I left and had a drink at the bar and when I got back they were done.
Really liked the rooms - especially the toilets. [We westerners are not accustomed to such fancy electronic toilets - which were outstanding ... and now I want one myself in my own home. ha ha] The staff was really great, too. Very kind and helpful. I especially want to call out "Hyen" whose name I am probably not spelling correctly. She was especially kind to us. The breakfast items in the restaurant never seemed to be hot. They were good - just not hot.
Good location, comfortable room, very helpful staff. Breakfast was pathetic - luke warm non-asian food in breakfast buffet both times I tried it, week coffee. Although the duvet was comfortable, I think a plain sheet would be good - I kept waking up overheated multiple times during the night and needing to crank down the air conditioner. I wish I had had the ability to push aside the duvet and only have a sheet until I cooled down again. Listings of the TV channels - it would have been nice to find news (no only business news) in English.
Pool and sauna nothing to be desired.
People were excellent, they were friendly and helpful. Sufficient personnel spoke English. Rooms were clean, staff was friendly. Soap and shampoo is not replenished daly, you havee to call the desk or catch the housekeeper.
Cab drivers had no issues finding the hotel Silent rooms despite fairly loud traffic outside Good proximity to Coex, subway, or city bus stop Helpful staff Beds were firm
take about 10 min to subway
The location is central, facilities clean. The staff are curteous and helpful. It was not noisy despite the proximity to main roads. You can hear conversations from adjacent rooms.Rooms are small and compact.
location and price
Excellent friendly staff who were extremely helpful, free internet access in lobby. Fairly bland, but as you would expect from a chain of this size.
I didn't even get my invoice, just been told that I could go! The room is so small, but it is nice and clean
