A bagagem é US$ 4 por peça.
Stayed in the villas at ''The Cove''. If you need a lot of space--this works. Great for traveling with very young children and even a nanny. You can also set up an account at the adjoining marriot hotel and go to the beach at morningstar. The cove is not very caribean in style. Our room had granite counters and furnishings found in any Marriot--not very island-ish. We also stayed in Morningstar beachside. We preferred that location for its ambiance.
I'm an owner and spent my 3rd week here at the end of October. The rooms are very nice. We have a 2 bedroom, both of which are roomy with adjacent bathrooms and balconies. The Living Room/Dining Room/Kitchen are in the middle of the unit, providing additional privacy between the bedrooms if needed. I do recommend renting a car. I had no problem with driving on the left side (just remember to stay close to the left side of the road). The steering wheel is situated as in mainland US. There are plenty of taxis to get you where you want to go, but a car may be more economical. We paid $80 in taxi fees for 4 people to go out to dinner. We only did it so we didn't have to be concerned if we drank. The beach at the Cove is nice, but you need to be careful of sea urchins. To the right of the dock, there are rocks near the beach that you need to get over to get to where it's sandy under the water. This is where I had an encounter with a sea urchin. It's sandier on the left side of the dock. ...
Stayed in Nov of 2009.The setting is beautiful and the villas are exceptional. Well equiped and spacious. Food is very expensive but with the kitchenette we were able to fix some meals in the room. The location is secluded and private but that can also be a problem with transportation. Suggest renting a car but be prepared to drive on the left side. With it being still under construction going back and forth to the hotel will be more converient in days to come. There will be carts to transport guests. In some of the eateries the menus were very limited but the portions were huge and very tasty. We will definitely go back.
It was absolutely beautiful resort inputs and outside! We had requested two beds in a room we only got one king bed. We also met many couples who had the same issue and some vice versa they got asked for a king bed and got two doubles. also the bed was not very comfortable it was kind of firm!
The staff was very nice and helpful. Helped me plan a romantic dinner on the beach for my boyfriends birthday. The view from our balcony was amazing . The room could have been a little cleaner( like the bathroom there was some areas I saw cracks on the toilet and the balcony area had some cobwebs ) but overall it was great.
The pool/beach and water sports at the resort are amazing! You can snorkel right off the beach and see more fish than if taking a boat tour which is also offered at the resort. It's was great to be at a resort that is all inclusive. The view is also great! The facilities are nice and I loved the decorative tile in all the buildings. The rooms are not the cleanest; I had an ant problem in my room. Little things are noticeable such as light bulbs being burnt out and not replaced or dirty floors. They have activities at night but they end earlier than when people are ready to go back to their rooms. Not a location I would go back to as a solo traveler.
Resort was pretty Service was the worst ever. They ran out of liquor the ran out of steak knives They ran out of milk. The did not bring coffee cups when bringing a pot of coffee from room service They ran out of beach towels by 11am every day. The beach was not really a beach... you needed water shoes to even get in the water and loads of sea urchins. Pool closed at seven every night Not much for entertainment. Very hard to get off resort unless you wanted to pay 50 buck a couple to go anywhere.
Liked the view from our waterfront room, convenience of all inclusive, and the staff was good, but it being off season, seemed to be sometimes a bit short on availability. The food quality was very average. If you are used to eating out above a standard sit down chain (ruby tuesday's, applebees, fridays) you are not going to be impressed with the dinners. Lunch was generally pretty good with some fresh fish, and sometimes cold shell fish. Breakfast was decent, but i have definitley seen better spreads (i get the impression again this was off season, so not their best). The room was very nice, but there were bathrooms in the pool area and other areas that you just felt like they needed refreshed (rust stained urinals, and non working hot water in the mens room, and rusty light fixtures)
Great location. Helpful staff. The place is falling apart. Everything feels Busch league from the way the room was decorated and cleaned to the literal worst Chinese food we've ever had.
The staff was very welcoming and helpful. The amenities and number of activities you can do on site was great. The restaurants were par. ok food, nothing to write home about. The views were beautiful and the facilities were clean. The water pressure in our shower was sub par and it made for cleaning off after the beach difficult. The carnival night which was advertised as very fun and a great time was not really all that exciting. I probably would have found something better to do with my evening had I known.
The onsite water activities that is available and heavenly days Sailing boat option. Two nearby restaurants by hotel. Bathroom toiletries could of been better. Like travel size shampoo and soaps for one time/ individual use
Restaurant personnel unfriendly. Beach awful
The proximity to the airport was great you could walk to your hotel room; however it was somewhat secluded from local amenities such as shop, night life and dinning. But a five min cab ride inexpensive. Better plumping, all water had to be shut down for temporary servicing but was back up with then an hour. Overall I would stay here again if I visit St. Thomas. Great hospitality amongst the staff and employees.
The staff was very helpful; we arrived early and couldn't check in yet but wanted to go into town and they allowed us to keep our bag there in a locked room until we could check in. We returned a little before the check-in time which was 4 p.m. and they allowed us to check in early which was nice. The pool is fine for what we needed and although the hotel was on the side of a hill, they did set up a little beach area. If you want to go to a real sandy beach, which we did, they have a shuttle that goes to the Best Western Plus across the bay and they had a great beach and slightly better pool. The ocean side bistro was awesome! We did not expect to get great food there but were tired and didn't want to go back into town but it exceeded our expectations. Get the Jerk Chicken Sandwich! Another huge plus is the front desk gave us a voucher for a free rum punch at the bar and since there were two of us actually gave us two without us having to ask. If you don't plan on being in your room much on your vacation or just need somewhere to stay overnight while waiting on a flight or cruise to leave, I would highly recommend this place. And the other reviews weren't kidding about the five minute walk to the airport! It's a hill that you have to trek up but really not bad to avoid paying for a cab. The "beach" area is really just some sand in a concrete enclosure thing with some chairs. Might be okay if you don't actually want to get in the water but we did. The bathroom had some mixed signals, it had a nice updated walk in shower (the hot water knob was messed up on ours so we thought we didn't have hot water at first but got it working) but an outdated pedestal sink. I like to have a countertop to set my things on in the bathroom so this was not a plus to me. At breakfast the wait staff seemed bothered that we were there (we were the only ones in the restaurant and granted it was 20 minutes before they closed but I only wanted yogurt!) and the food was pretty overpriced, but I think that's pretty consistent with the Virgin islands as a whole.
Lunch is only available at sister hotel
Hotel was excellent!!! Booked this through here which directed me to Priceline who held my $$ on a "credit hold" & I had to pay at hotel again upon check out. Guess Priceline has been doing this. I have since paid twice for this hotel and still waiting on Priceline to settle this. BTW the price with Priceline was much higher than what I paid directly on hotel lobby. SMH Shame on you Priceline.
Located close to airport. Lovely dockside restaurant and swim area. Large balcony off of the room with beautiful view of the bay. Rooms are small.
The location has a restaurant/bar on site... it had food and alcohol. Man made beach (no actual swimming access at this location). AC worked well. Stayed in a 'cabin', had my own porch with two chairs. Right next to airport, planes very loud. Wifi was lackluster in broadcast capabilities (here for work, needed wifi). Coffee maker in room didn't work. Paint was peeling on one of the walls, probably from constant humidity. TV was fairly beat up, looked like someone used bleach to clean the screen at some point. The room was OK, but just OK.
Convenient to airport, nice view from patio on second floor, clean bathroom Water leaked on me in the night from a crack in the ceiling, AC never cooled room down, shower was either ice cold or hot - difficulty in getting regular temp, terrible pillows, staff never answered phone
The hotel ia conveniently located. Considering how close it was to the airport there was no loud noise or difficulty sleeping. Rooms are clean but housekeeping only came once during a three day stay. Staff are ok. Ringing the front desk was useless most times aa no one answered. I've stayed several times at bluebeards castle for 30 more so this was on the expensive side for the value. In all, if i was in a bind like this time id return but not before looking for some where nicer first.
The cottage room was nice and clean, no issues The restaurant had very poor service. I was so upset because I never got my food and the rest of my group had finished I left without eating dinner and could not sleep all night.
The beachside restaurant was great. The pool was lovely and the staff were very accommodating. Would definitely stay here again.
My son & daugher-in-law were married on the Elysian Beach Resort on 05/08/07.. I arrived on 05/05/07 and the hotel staff was extremely unprofessional and rude. The check-in policy is not at all what my reservation letter stated from the company. The letter stated $250.00 deposit at check-in and we had to put a $3,000.00 deposit down. ! I was a hotel manager for years and I never treated my hotel guest like this and never charged them money ahead of time only at CHECK- OUT!!. !
we are time share owners at the Elysian Beach Resort (2 weeks) and go down every year . the management lacks any knowledge of just what vacationers want and expect when they arrive and stay there. 1st. they only have 69 rooms to rent so they are always overbooked. are weeks are deeded ,so we own the unit for 2 weeks every year sat to sat. this year we arrived on a sunday night and were told that they had put someone in OUR room and they would try and put us in another room. we got our room on monday. This properity used to be a RCI 5 star gold crown resort but no longer. it would be lucky to get 1 star. 2 resturants on prop. and both overpriced for what you get. if you don't have a car you are stuck there unless you take cab's everywhere, very expensive. if going to the USVI go to the Westin in St. John, cost more but worthevery penny
Beach. We found our hotel room (119) less than desirable. There were flourescent lightbulbs, no screen on the door to the balcony overlooking the parking lot. The furniture was dated, and the staircase to reach our room was dark and unlit in the early evening.
We were very disapointed. The hotel staff was very rude and unhelpful. The hotel was not clean and in desparate need of maintenance.
it was better in reality than the pictures was showing.only the beach was not really a beach but there's so many beaches in st thomas to explore than the one at your hotel .the studio was really clean , towells were changed everyday.parking facilities and proximity to the supermarket was perfect.also the restaurant is great and you must try the lobster.
