It was close to the station and the bus terminal when I arrived from Palermo airport. the location of this hotel was not satisfactory for me, a solo woman traveller. It was at least 20 minutes walk to be anywhere close to decent restaurants in Via Roma. Walking to the left of this hotel yielded cheap Chinese apparel shops. Not a great location for the lone woman traveller. The breakfast also left a lot to be desired, as what was offered looked very tired and unappetising. If I hadn't spotted the coffee machine at the far end of the breakfast room I would have thought the only offering was stale percolated coffee which smelt vile.
The room and bathroom were spacious and comfortable with elegant furniture and art. Everything was very secure. Wireless internet didn't work in our room. The shower curtain was not very clean. Also we were not able to have breakfast on our last day as we had an early train and staff could not accomodate us, even with something like fruit and yoghurt in our room. The location was a bit seedy but was close to the railway station.
A nice B & B with stylish and artistic decorations. The location is good (just 8 minutes walk to the train and bus stations and 15 minutes walk to the seaside) and the owner is very friendly. We had booked a double room and were given a large room with a king-sized bed and two day-beds, which was really impressive. Definitely a good choice in Palermo. The housekeeper was a bit rude. It seemed that she only wanted to finish her work as quick as possible with little attention to the guests.
Excellent location - close to all POS, nice environment, good facilities, very friendly staff and nice owners. Our room was silent and clean, equipped with fast wireless internet. Breakfast was in a beautiful garden in the inner court of the building. I will certainly return to this hotel whenever possible. No complaints at all. Everything was perfect
good value for the dollar. owner made you feel like family. good breakfast. towels should be changed daily
