I like the hotel because eventhough they never received the reservation from booking.com: they gave us the room at a good price.
Friendliness of Staff. English Level of the hotel staff was poor. I found it quite difficult to communicate and understand their speech.
traffic and shopping old decoration, old furniture, old equipment, all are not worthy of the room rate
shuttle bus to canton fair. bus stop to HK. food is convenient at that area. 5th floor italian resturant is 50% discount, valuable. to MTR about 10 min. I stayed 4 nights, one night they forgot the bath gel, and sampoo.
I requested since booking to stay in the non smoking room, but the staff still put me in the smoking floor. So I requested to move and they move me to the room where smaller and cheaper than the cost I paid. So I denied to take it, finally, they moved me to the non smoking floor in the type of room that I booked. And it's such a waste of time!

The size of the king size bed was great; the breakfast buffet opening hours were good (you don't have to rush). The room and halls of hotel look old; the bedroom was spacious with big bed but everything looks old with no real facilities. The TV was small and very, very old. All of this would be very acceptable for a budget hotel but not for a hotel this type. The value for money is quite poor.
. he food is terrible.....the breakfast is so bad,i was sick one day.I was charged one price leaving and as i was in a hurry didnt check the receipt.they then took another 2ooo aus dollars off my creditcard without my permission....now i have to check who and how they took it.

Very close to metro and decent restaurants. Hotel staff personally guided me to a pharmacy 15 minutes away and paid for the taxi ride. Very difficult to find. Bed was hard. Only one staff member spoke English despite 'English' being listed as an amenity. Laundry costs were high, and stains were left on clothes suggesting they were washed wet and together despite a dry cleaning request.
