Very quiet and comfortable hotel with decent sized rooms and very professional personal. Very nice breakfast.
I love the bath tub and the beds are the best I´ve found. My back hurts a lot but I had no pain in the morning, which is a miracle. We slept to well and missed breakfast the two mornings we stayed at Mercure Hotel. We also missed the train to the airport because of this :)
Breakfast was excellent, my room was very spacious, with a superb bathroom. The layout of the bedroom was also good, and I loved the Reception area with its Christmas tree and festive atmosphere. The glass elevators are also very attractive. Room 308 did not have any drawer space to put clothes in, only hanging spare in the wardrobe
It was close to the Westfalenhallen The underground parking was very narrow and expensive.
easy to reach Iduna park stadium, 10min walk. we luckily met Shinji Kagawa at the reception in the hotel just after the match with Volksburg.Hotel stuff recommended us a nice Mongolian food restrant near the hotel. Baby bed. Nothing.
the general standard of furnishings The double bed turned out to be two singles pushed together. The TV was a little confusing to operate.
friendly staff, good location, faultless service.
some of the staff were very nice and helpful; The gym is a joke, dont even think about bringing your gym-stuff; During my stay it was very hot in Dortmund and there is only this mini terrace out front the hotel in the bare heat, no umbrellas; I found the bed too short (they should check out Hilton or Marriott for their beds!); the TV too small and old; this hotel needs to loose a star and be downgraded;
very spacious room, very clean
The room. My girlfriend and I (both young professionals) stayed here while attending Love Parade 2008 and were way overcharged for the room by a condescending staff. Nice room, but the front desk needs to be fired and restaffed.
On site underground parking, easy to find from Autobahn, bar snacks and food reasonable price. no
Very friendly staff, walking distance to the centre, beautiful interior that differs from mainstream hotels, good selection at breakfast Few programs in English on TV
Great place to stay if you are going to Westfalenhalle. Just a couple of minutes to walk from the hotel.
Helpful 24 hours reception, good English speaking staff, programmable TV wakeup alarm. Very expensive wireless Internet, in this day and age that should be available for free in every hotel room, very few foreign language channels on TV.
We were looked after very well at the hotel and found the reception very helpfull especially in terms the checking for flights and travel arrangenents in the circumstances that we found on this break. We hope to return again for the model exibution in 2011 and with reasonable rates will probable increase our duration to the full 5 nights many thanks for a good time
The staffs are very friendly and the free Internet access is very nice whereas other hotels around charge you. It was very convenient to the messe. Outside restaurant is nice, but people are sometimes very noisy late in the night.
Staff is very kind.
Very clean and good location Bar always empty
The familiar atmosphere and the kindness and professionality of the staff.
Position close to u Bahn
Very good location to The Intertabac 2007 Fair Everything is O.K.
Location of the hotel is okay. Close to but not in the city centre. WiFi connection did not work and there was no one of the staff able to help me connect.
Free WiFi available in rooms. Upon arrival I was disappointed to discover that the bar & restaurant were not open. I would not have choosen this hotel had I known that the bar and restaurant would not be available during my stay. Staff were not very helpful in recommending alternative restaurants. The room was clean but there was a smell coming from a drain on the bathroom floor.
No iron and ironing board in rooms, no working internet in rooms
The hotel is easy to reach and close to the metrò
