I loved staying at La Piscine art Hotel. It has the perfect location in town. Not to far from the centre and close to all bars! I ate at the the hotels restaurant and the food was amazing! The fish was fresh and the service very professional. Plus the atmosphere around the pool with candles was very serene. I definitely recommend that you try the restaurant. The rooms are clean and all the staff very friendly, warm and welcoming.
location close to the town center but not exactly in the center is a perfect compromise through amenities, useful tips and relax.
Very friendly staff, convenient location. Breakfast was below average, need to notify reception if you want your aircondition switched on as there is no control from the room. Also carpets in main reception need changing as they are dusty and they smell.
Great hotel, amazing location in Skiathos town but quiet. Comfortable and spacious rooms. And beds are great! The hotel restaurant is one of the best we've ever tried. The quality and choice of food is excellent(even fresh fish), service and atmosphere by the pool are superb. We come to Skiathos every year and La Piscine is definitely the best hotel we stayed by far.
Very polite and helpful staff. Good breakfast.
Olga from the reception, she was so genuine kind and service minded!
The staff and service in the main were excellent. Little things, e.g. towels put out by the pool, were done well. Nothing was really too much trouble The music from the poolside bar, especially after midnight, became very annoying
The staff were extremely accomodating
The staff were brilliant - very friendly personal service. Very helpful - though sometimes a bit slow at seeing that we were trying to get their attentionby the pool but it didn't matter - the rooms was very nicely appointed. We were sad to leave as we had had a delightful sejour there. The first room we were shown had a roof which if one was sitting on the balcony obscured the view of the sea - we paid 50€ per day extra to get a better view - the room had a jacuzzi so we did get something extra
Michael, the owner, offered to both picked me up from the ferry, and drop me off at the airport. The room provided had incredible sweeping views of the port. It was a short walking distance to everything, from the bus stop, tavernas, shops, market..etc the mattresses are typically Greek, a bit on the firm side. There are lots of stairs, but this is typical and the pay back are magical sweeping views of the bay and the port from the balcony and your bed !
It was in the perfect location just at the back of the town away from any noise but in 5 minutes you were in the hustle and bustle. Great. And walking all on the flat. There was no lift which is ok if you can manage flights of stairs but could be a prob if not so you need to specify a first floor room.
It was a nice hotel. Our room had a quite big balcony which was nice. The only thing that was a bit annoying was that they only had one key for the entire room.
Good location - 10mins walk from Skiathos town, and 2mins to Megli Ammos beach. Room clean, air-cond effective. Quite Basic, no lift, few English tv channels, courtesy shower room was a mosquito breeding ground.
A relaxed place with helpful staff
The location was good, near to the beach and old port area and also on the bus route. The beds weree a little too hard for me.
Easy to find and the proximity to the city of skiathos,to the very nice nearby beach of megali ammos and to the superbe taverna named"thessaloniki".the nice view from the balcony.good value for the money we payed. A room at the last floor(third)was given to us.except from climbing so many stairs to reach it, it was unbelievably hot inside, the air- condition didnt work properly and so much time was needed to cool it.i guess in lower floors the problem of heat may not be such a big issue.also there are no double beds in the hotel as I was told and breakfast was poor and basic.
