Conforto do quarto, beleza do hotel. Cheguei para fazer o check-in às 16:30 e o quarto não estava pronto
As acomodações são muito boas. Os funcionários são amáveis. A localização é execelente. A cesta com maçãs oferecidas na recepção é uma ótima idéia. As opções de café da manhã no "Victorian Arms" são todas muito "pesadas". Poderia ter alguma opção mais light, com frutas e cereais.
Was very clean and nice the staff were all very friendly and accommodating, would def recommend! Best hotel I've stayed in for downtown Hali!
The close proximity to the train station and the boardwalk When we booked the hotel in advance we didn't know what was going on in Halifax in that pictular time frame as it was our 39 wedding anniversary at this Hotel we found the service was poor Also the room that we paid very dearly for can now be turned back into the orginal broom or linen closet that they had stuck a bed into for the week that the concerts and tall ships were there. Definetely not worth the price. Very disapointed..
MY car was broken into and personal belongings were stolen. The hotel took no responsibility and showed no compassion for this incident
Perfect downtown location. Close to shopping and restaurants.
Good location, good parking facilities, nice rooms and excellent American Breakfast.
Location is convenient for a walk on the piers. Car parking large and easy to reach it. Hotel is not really new. The room was very small and old components inside. We paid too much for the room they gave us. Breakfast not so nice compared to the cost.
I had a spacious room - very bright. Plus the hotel gave back $5 coupons for not using the daily room cleaning service which is something I never use anyway. I also liked the Starbuck's bar in the lobby. When I checked in the couple beside me were told their room rate was $89 per night and I was paying over $200 per night - I felt I had been taken advantage of by this booking service.
Great location and price. The hotel is very close to the waterfront and was ideal for our vacation time in Halifax. Very comfortable. The room needed some repairs when we arrived, but staff were very helpful and got those taken care of quickly. We had little hot water one morning, but it was fine the next day.
needs restaurant or café or continental breakfast clean -quiet--parking should be in
booking was not as posted on web page,,,,hotel staff indifferent,
It was in a good location. See about. It feels past it's prime.
luxurious beds and bedding , flat screen tv, large bathroom , all the action of seeing the younger generation dressed to the nines for the nightclub adjacent high priced parking , but can understand in a city
Location, location, location. Near to downtown, VIA RAIL, Waterfront, great restaurants, and most all the usual tourist attractions.
location and hotel staff restaurant and view
location for the business I had to conduct in Halifax Improve the quantity of food offerings
Parking was very tight, and many slots were blind to traffic inside the car park.
Good size rooms, clean and up to date, ipod base for music Location not optimal for tourism (more than 1 km away and uphill from Waterfront Properties, downtown area)
I did not like that there was no complimentary coffee for us the next morning. We stayed the night that the power was out due to Hurricane Earl. So because we couldn't make coffee in our room i feel that complimentary coffee in starbucks should have been complimentary
The staff were very friendly & helpful, a beautiful place, a fitness room, pool, etc.. I would stay there again.
just to munch money
The front desk crew was very helpful to locate all the sights. The parking garage was easily to enter and to park in. The hotels location is in the city but when on foot far away from the sights, the shopping and the majority of the restaurants. This was not indicated at all.
offering starbucks coffee, no wireless internet, bathtub paint is peeling off, no bathroom in lobby, away from downtown
We found that check in and check out were very quick and efficient. The room service was excellent.
Easy going but responsive and efficient approach of the staff Overpriced thanksgiving dinner 'special' that tasted dreadful.
Key cards hardly worked, slow staff response and bad bathroom supplies
Staff were pleasant and helpful and the room was clean and comfortable. The restaurent is exceptionally nice with a good view. Food is a bit pricey. no complaints.
Very Convenient and great amentities, within, room very comfortable.
Nice hotel, staff and breakfast. Location is 8 blocks uphill/ downhill from waterfront. Walking the 8 blocks uphill back to the hotel was a physical workout. I would have preferred a hotel about 4 blocks or less from water
The room was a comfortable size and the bed was great. House keeping was loud while cleaning the rooms. The floors were not vaccumed once in our week long stay at the hotel.
Location, spacious suite
The staff were professional and couteous, the room was clean and spacious, breadkfast is provided, and the location is central to the downtown area. Nothing.
Friendly staff. Fast and efficient maintenance assistance when we needed door locked on adjoining room which had been left opened. Bathroom toiletries were nice quality. Bed wasn't very comfy and the pillows were the absolute worst (had ear and neck ache next morning). Felt like thin walls, especially when a crying dog woke us up at 6:30am.
The harbour view for only $10 upgrade Breakfast room got very congested at certain times, especially around the very slow moving toaster.
I was taking my daughter to Dalhousie university, a 4km round trip from this hotel. Lovely rooftop terrace overlooking the harbour, walking distance to shops and restaurants....and the campus. A reasonable drive to shopping and sights outside of the city centre. The room was very spacious with a handy mini kitchen area. A good sized decent fitness facility with hot tub. I will be back, perhaps with family. Two levels of parking underneath. The girls at the front desk were very helpful with directions anywhere I asked to go. I was thankful for the use of the business centre and printer for the printing of my boarding pass before I left. No.
Location was fabulous with restaurants very near and close to the waterfront - a lot of Halifax is reachable by a short walk.
Excellent hotel loved the renos since our last stay.
I loved the room, the location, the gym, the breakfast and the staff! There is not a single thing not to love about this hotel!
We were charged 24 dollars per night tax (i.e. 72 dollars) extra. Both your confirmation to me and confirmation to the hotel confirmed that taxes were included. Why was I therefore charged this extrA. the manager at the hotel was adamant that I had to pay this
When we go to Halifax it is the place we love to stay, it is clean, the staff are friendly and helpful, we love swimming in the pool and relaxing in the hot tub, it's great to have breakfast and parking included. The location is great, centrally located. We recommended it to my brother and it is now their go to place in Halifax
The staff were extreamly friendly and heplful. The hotel had a very warm and welcoming atmosphere. Family friendly aswell as bussiness friendly. A lovely chocolate labrador is there to greet guests at the front desk. The appearnce of the hotel's exterior was not as inviting as the interior. The location of the hotel could have been alot better.
This hotel is ideally located. Easy to drive into downtown or the water front. Also, just a short drive to explore the small coastal towns. Decent breakfast as well as a nice restaurant for dinner. Service and staff are excellent. Front desk associate, Matthew, was wonderful. He spent over an hour on the phone to straighten out an error by our booking company that nearly left us without a room. He even got them to give us a refund. Such a pleasure to receive such superior service! Breakfast can be a bit chaotic a busier times.
The facilities were great and the room was clean and comfortable.
The location was very convenient for both spending time in the city and driving to coastal hiking venues. The breakfast options were very good, and the staff were very friendly and efficient. Noise from other rooms was a problem. Conversations were easily overheard, and the sound from the television in the next room was louder than the (preferred) volume on our own television!
i have been staying at the prince since 1987 the location i likeb best no
The dinner we had Friday night was absolutely marvellous! Both dishes were elegantly presented and cooked to perfection.
When booked, we had hoped for a hotel within walking distance of all our past memories - from the Citadel to the waterfront - and The Prince George fit the bill perfectly. We went to the Tattoo on Friday evening - and when booking, had no idea where the building centre holding the event was. Imagine how pleased we were to learn it was across the street! Missed a hotel bar....
The staff and the location were great. The bed was very comfortable. I thought the price for parking was excessive and the room rate was very high.Parking should have been included in the room rate at the price I paid.
It is simple but nice The ends are too soft for me
The facilities and were excellent. The location is ideal for the city of Halifax.TH The P.G. was expensive as all hotels are in the Halifax area.
Good location. Good lounge. Excellent restaurant. Nice staff. Pillows are way too hard. They used to have down. They no longer know the difference between down and feather pillows.
Location, cleanliness, modern, great parking, long time client. In the past I ahve been a client of this hotel many times for business purposes and had great service. Not this time. I was denied my provicial government discount and was very displeased. It was not until it went to the manager in he morning that the decision was reversed. The reason I was told that I was denied was because I booked on line. As I feel thisis an advertising tool, I feel that this was not a reason and that I am the same client I was am. In the morning however, I was told that I was denied as the hotel was booked to capacity. I have never heard of this before. The manager finally reversed the decision after lengthy diecussion but still charged me $10 extra over what the clerk told me was the government rate the night before. Very poor service and not an enjoyable stay. Unfortunate as I actually love to stay here.
comfortable bed and great maid service Underground waking to Scotia Square! Called ahead to make sure their parking would accommodate a full size truck. Was told yes. Getting in was not a problem but getting out was nerve wracking!! One truck had its side scaped trying to maneuver the tight corner while another had its truck cap scraped while we were there!!!
The location was exellent!! no
The overall feel of the hotel was welcoming. Lovely facility and well maintained. Staffing was courteous and pleasant and very helpful. We loved the location and the fact that we could walk along the boardwalk and also walk around the city itself from that point. We were pleasantly surprised by a lovely bottle of Champagne in our room as we celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary. As I said, the staff was fabulous. It would have been nice to have had an option for breakfast but we were happy to see Starbucks on site and had our coffee and yogurt breakfast each day and saved the extra calories for a wonderful dinner in town on our walks. As for parking, it was an unexpected expense as we thought it was included in cost of reservation. As we found, however, in large cities this is common. Our car was safe and accessible and it was worth the money not to worry.
Convenient location. Was very overpriced.
We stay at this hotel frequently. It is our favorite place to stay in Halifax. We love that the sleeping area is separate, that way you can have guests in your room. With the pull out couch, cafe table, sink, fridge and microwave plus tv in one room and tv and beds in another there is plenty of room for everyone. We enjoy the pool and hot tub as well. We could not get the sauna to work. One girl swimming in the pool thought she found a piece of glass in the pool.
I liked the location of the Radisson as well as the layout of the room.
Free coffee I booked a king size and my room had two queens also the toillettes didn't flush
design of the 2 Queen bedroom suite and the friendliness of the valet guys ...Made us really feel welcome .. kids are used to sleeping in A bit of heat and they froze ...couldn't get heat higher than 68 degrees ...lol
we liked the layout of the Suite with a separate bedroom and living sections. All hotel staff was very courteous and friendly. The room was well equipped with amenities. some cosmetic maintenance needs to be completed in this room - areas where paint was off the walls by the window and as well there had been previously a leak in the bedroom ceiling that now discoloured and left maintenance work to be done.
Excellent location, large room, comfortable beds. Excellent staff...one of the best in Halifax. In need of some renovations - nothing not working, property just showing its age.
the hotel need renovation
Location was just a block from the waterfront. There was a full bar in the lobby. And a full breakfast for a reasonable price in the morning. The room was clean and spacious. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. Couldn't ask for a better hotel experience for our vacation.
spacious rooms, friendly efficient service, bathroom supplies were of good quality, good quality furniture and televisions. Price was a bit steep for a night's stay.
The room was spacious and the beds were absolutly wonderful!. I especially enjoyed the feather pillows and that there were lovely large towels in the bathroom.
The staff was very friendly and the atmosphere inviting. A great place to stay with spacious accomodations.
Beautiful new rooms, spacious, great location. waited for 30 minutes to check in (huge lineup with lots of agitated guests) only one elevator, so waited 10+ minutes to get on the elevator EVERY time we had to use it (ended up giving up and taking the stairs a few times) For $180/night we could have stayed at one of Halifax's other beautiful hotels with less headaches.
Hotel was awesome and very impressed, however the elevators are extremely slow. It took upwards of 10-15 mins at times for us to get up and down to and from the 15th floor.
good breakfast and great location. Easy access to all site seeing amenities & waterfront attractions. Professional, curteous and efficient service at front desk. Even the cleaning staff was friendly and helpful. liked the added security of needing the room card for the parking and the use of the elevator. Lack of fan in the bathroom. Pool temperature was a bit too cool to enjoy.
The hotel was in walking distance to all if halifax harbor front. We wished there was a small fridge in the room.
The room was great No sauna, but that was fine. Also for the price of the stay a breakfast of some sort should have been included.
I loved the location and the room was large. The pool was tiny, and the price almost doubled with taxes add-ons, such as marketing fees, and parking.

Location was great There was no breakfast menu in the room when I called down to inform them I was told they could read it over the phone I asked for one to be sent up. 15 minutes or so later i was called and told they don't offer breakfast to guests staying one night.

Lovely location. Polite,friendly,helpful staff. Immaculate.
Location is very nice (very close to Halifax waterfront) Prices quoted are US dollars :(
Rooms 53 dollars for two nights to park a truck was a little much

The location It's over looks other buildings. Great view but can't enjoy it without other people in your business.
The staff were very friendly and ready to help you any time. The fact that the car need to be park by the staff, and mostly that I can not have acces to my car by myself. But was not a big deal either...

Location was excellent for visiting Halifax. With the free parking on wsekends , it worked out very well. Air conditioner was problematic, but the staff member onduty did her best to reactivate it.
Within walking distance of many attractions the room was very small and had only one chair. I felt it was over priced .We did not have a mirror in the room and the sheets would not stay put and were very worn.
Being drawn into the historic Halifax timber framed areas.
Friendly, helpful staff Marginal breakfast, neighbourhood challenging.
most helpful, polite staff. Good continental breakfast. nothing negative
The hotel was quite, the staff very very gently. The place was at walking distance of the city centre.
The staff were very kind and helpful. Also the hotel had a comfortable feel.
Friendly staff, clean place. Price and furniture, no pen, no note paper (I had to write on my hand)
The owner was very friendly and spoke to the guests over breakfast. The breakfast was excellent. I would not hesitate to return to the hotel if the room rate was slightly lower.
room clean I booked the room at a rate of 89.95 CAD but they charged me 140 CAD !.. I honestly dont trust your prices anymore
Well located, nice staff, good breakfast, easy to find Good control over noise level of guests Inferior acoustic insulation, slow access to hot water, inferior construction.
