The Tint is a nice, clean, cute place to lay your head when you have a quick stay in Phuket Town. The employee working the desk was extremely helpful as well in providing information on island hopping for the next part of our trip. The halls echo pretty loudly.
if you miss the ferry from rassada this place is awesome for a quick overnight stay. The hotel is clean, staff is super friendly and they do not run a scam show like the pier. They charge 400 bht for ferry and transport back to the city/airport which is a fair fee instead of scam artist trying to charge you at the pier. The cheaptest I found on the island was 350bht. I would gladly pay 50bht extra and deal with nice people. The hotel has bunch of restaurants around. The surrounding area looked safe and not too touristy The hallway is a little noisy when people are walking and the doors dont seal the noise much.
Yes,receptionis helps us a lot .many tq.
clean, smile, close to the bay No swimming pool
Central location The breakfast was cold every morning and when asked for a hot fried egg the waiter just took the cold eggs and microwaved them!! Not good.
the staff were very pleasent, efficient, informative & helpfull. The hotel was in a great location for us to continue our onward journey to the islands of Thailand. we got what we expected from the descriptions & photos provided.
The location of the hotel is great since it is in front of the Phuket bus station.
The bedroom..very nice! the breakfast and the position
Room is much better (bed, shower) than you'd expect from seeing the outside of the hotel which is in a bit rundown building. Seemed like renovation is only halfway finished. The Old Town, thai markets, modern shops and cinemas all on walking distance from hotel (reception helpful, but not very good at giving directions). Free wifi worked well from the room, after a router-reset. Easy 10 mins connection to ferry-pier for Koh Phi Phi. The nice views are on the front of the building (rm# 04,05,06), but on this side no double beds. From the rear (# 01, 02, 03) only wall-view from your balcony, even on top (5th) floor. No inroom safe. The included breakfast was a joke: soggy bread, 1 type jam, old coffee. Some alternatives available in neighbourhood, but this breakfast you can skip. Did not notice "extensive range of local dishes in a wide variety of regional styles" or any dining facility during the evening, went somewhere else, enough choice in Old Town.
A beautiful hotel - very nicely set out. Beautiful rooms - very comfortable and well equiped. Has tea and coffee in rooms which is rare these days and very much appreciated. Friendly staff - very helpful. Spa attached to the hotel is fantastic - private and well priced. Best value I've found for a long time. Very highly recommended. Breakfast is limited but probably because it is the low season. A long way from beaches, but it was nice to be away from the tourist strip and public transport to the beaches is easy to get.
The hotel is convenient for walking in to town and was a location known to taxi drivers. This is not always the case. The position near the bus terminal is useful if you are travelling to distant destinations but not good for local travel. We had chosen the location to take advantage of buses to local destinations, for which it was not suitable, as local buses to the beaches left from elsewhere in the town.
Facilities and room. No hot water 2 of 3 days. Cold (and dangerous) yolk-pool egg (probably pre-cooked as I was told there was "no cook today" when I requested a scrambled egg before the fried egg was brought out.) When I pointed to egg and said "cold" waiter sternly responded "hot", which he repeated again after I said again, "no, cold".
