Prós: "This was my first international flight, and also first on Lufthansa, and I was thoroughly impressed. We traveled with another couple who've flown internationally multiple times, but this was their first Lufthansa flight as well, and they said it's the best they'd had. The crew were all excellent, friendly, and accommodating. There was plenty of entertainment options, refreshments, and snacks. The food was very good-much better than I'd expected. I appreciated that there were pillows, blankets, and headphones readily available as well. I'll try to fly Lufthansa every chance I get when flying internationally."

Prós: "The plane they run on this route is an Airbus A380-800 which is the large double decker that holds a gazillion people. The seats have good legroom (unlike united) and a nice in-seat entertainment system. The airplane is uncannily quiet in flight. The flights are full. The meal service was nice except for the pasta which was pretty pathetic. With your United MP gold card you can get into all the airport lounges when flying Lufthansa economy which is great."
Contras: "As you might expect with a plane this large its takes a while to get people on and off it even with the German efficiency of Lufthansa. And of course you land in Frankfurt which is tied with Heathrow for the worst airport in the western world. Lots of bus trips and walking to get anywhere."

Alone with that, the height of the bassinet makes it easy for the kid to get distracted. WORSE PART: Our daughter couldn't get comfortable to sleep and got fussy, so I took her for a walk which didn't help much. Since it was bedtime 11pm with 0 to little traffic, and to avoid her crying from disturbing everyone I resorted to one of the bathrooms with her. She did fall asleep for about 1 hour until one the FA came literally BANGING on the door. Very rude even after I calmly explained the situation. So sorry for such people with no compassion nor understanding in their hearts."
Contras: "Boarding was a zoo as the system was down -not very organized either. There was one crew member who was extremely rude and even as people boarded by her section did not greet people. Skipped a few rows with drinks and then told them there was no time to bring even a glass of water. Fortunately another crew member (who we also asked as they went by) brought water to those she had skipped who wanted it. My TV monitor was not working. Aging planes - need a thorough cleaning. The announcements were garbled and very difficult to hear."

I was then transferred through Prague to get to Athens and again missed my connecting flight through there. Now I am stuck in Prague looking for a flight to Athens and most likely will miss my next flight from Athens to Karpathos and will again be stuck in Athens because there are no flights out to Karpathos until 19 of May, 3days from now. I was physically in the Copenhagen airport and could have made that flight, I feel that since I was already checked in they should have waited for me and allowed me to board. Now I will Be missing work!"
Prós: "Everyone I interacted with from SAS was very nice and very polite. Smooth, short flight. Bags came down pretty quickly. The coffee on the plane was better than in my hotel in Edinborough!"
Contras: "I didn't realize that even though I am an international traveler, I had to pay for baggage for this short flight. And since I didn't realize it, I didn't purchase it online, which doubled the price at the airport :-( also, and this is not the fault of the airline, the security line is ridiculously slow because at least 50% of the passengers get shunted to a single line because the screener saw something odd."

I got a headache from it. Throughout the process the entertainment units were disabled, when they could have helped distract passengers from this ordeal. The food was disgusting. When the Danish government has repatedly bailed out SAS, it would make a lot more sense for everyone involved to have higher quality Danish products on board for the meals, especially for such things as dairy products."

Restrooms were out of paper/soap with no attention from crew. Overhead personal lights were either burnt or malfunctioning. - Lunch meal was decent. pre-landing meal is the same as the snack... some sort of dry and non-appealing wrap. - Crew did not perform passenger safety-check before takeoff and landing (seat backs raised up and seat belts fastened)."

Prós: "Because of bad weather at the Faroe Islands, the aircraft made a missed approach (go-around) on the first attempt to land. The weather had improved sufficiently to make it in on the second attempt. The pilot and the cabin crew were excellent in keeping everyone informed, and telling us the status of the weather and the likelihood of getting in. The pilot was outstanding in his communication with the passengers and the cabin crew were great in re-assuring passengers after the missed approach. The flight crew handled the difficult weather conditions very well."

Even bigger disappointment was that I booked a business class seat and paid three times more money then a normal economy ticket, there wasn't any business class seat and all seats were occupied in the front rows. Staff was generally rude and not willing to help."

Contras: "I was sitting next to a girl who was not part of my family who got airsick 3 times on the flight. The first time I told the airline attendant and she brought a large plastic bag and some paper towels. The girl but her used airsick bag inside the large plastic bag. I tied the top and put in next to me near the aisle because I expected the attendant to come pick it up. The attendant told me I had to take it to the lavatory and dispose of it in there. It was very hard to get the large plastic bag into the small trash receptacle because it had fill with air. I asked the attendant for another airsick bag but she never brought it. The girl got sick again and she used my airsick bag. While walking the bag up to the lavatory, I asked a different attendant for another airsick bag. They just told me I had to dispose of it in the lavatory and never brought another airsick bag. I had to ask someone for their airsick bag because the girl got sick a third time. I can not believe the horrible service on this flight! The poor girl was crying because she felt so sick and there wasn't anyone to help her. I did what I could but I felt something could have been done by the crew. I will think twice before I reserve another flight on SAS."

Prós: "Missing luggage and wasn't given much info the day of. Was told I was going to hear from SAS in Kiruna the next day and my bag was going to be delivered on the first flight, there after driven out to my address. The first flight has passed, so has the second, and after several phone calls to attempt getting hold of the staff at the airport, I have been uncessessful. I had nothing in my hand luggage and at almost 8PM the next day , with Christmas around the corner and after traveling all the way from the U. S. I'm literally speechless. Terribly poor way of handling business and custom service! Thanks for literally ruining my Christmas!"

Staff couldn’t seem to get food service down. Constant running up and down aisle trying to sort out and sandwiches. Trying to nap on aisle seat with constant shouting was impossible. Seatbelt sign also sounds alarm constantly."

Prós: "The flight itself was fine. We have taken this flight several times and have never had any major issues. Seattle has improved its arrivals hall, so clearing immigration and customs is much quicker than it used to be."
Contras: "Navigating Heathrow when changing terminals is horrid. I have no idea why they make you go through security again when you never leave a secure area. Always allow at least 2+ hours for a transfer. When boarding this flight usually does not have a gate. It is necessary to take a. Is to the plane and walk up the stairs, which seems like unnecessary delays."

Contras: "I guess they are having problems getting flights out on schedule I had a long wait coming from the US and they added another 2 plus hours of wait at Heathrow....."
Prós: "Fast, easy, and comfortable flight, with a friendly crew."
Contras: "For this flight, the line of people to board stretched outside of the gate- it was not possible to wait inside the gate. Once we were checked in we had to shove our way onto an overcrowded bus for transport from the gate to the plane. More buses are needed when ferrying people by bus from the gate to the plane, in general (not just on this flight)."

Contras: "The "snack" was a very unappealing tuna sandwich which was basically an empty bun, but no one is on that flight for the food anyway. The entertainment monitor was broken, but again, it just didn't matter."

Contras: "At the time of boarding, the plane was delayed for one hour and a half. Then when we were ready to board again, another delay of 20mim, then 25 min more. We ended up being 2h50 min late. At the end, the crow didn't even call us to inform we were boarding, we had to come at the gate regularly to see the changes."

Contras: "Ground personnel not friendly at all at Heathrow. Plane was totally crowded and bathrooms were unavailable for long periods of time. People stood in the aisles throughout the flight and blocked the aisles, even for the crew. Have to say though, that the plane was full of football fans travelling to Malta for some game."
Prós: "Short flight but everything was great from check in to landing. We have flown many airlines and Air Malta was better than most."

Contras: "We watched the woman tag our bags We were in Malta for the last leg of our honeymoon. And somehow our bag with a months worth of clothes was lost. Completely lost. The tag number we were given is for a bag of someone in Nova Scotia. After a beautiful trip we lost over 12k of clothes and make up and shoes. Just a horrible way to end our honeymoon. So awful."
Prós: "The flight was smooth. The crew was efficient and friendly. Turkey sandwich and a full bottle of water was perfect."
Contras: "Check in was a little confusing. For a small airport, it was tough to figure out which line was the correct line for me. They were too generic and not descriptive enough. The online checkin was also glitchy. I tried three times before managing a complete checkin. I was never sure if I was going to have a ticket when I got to Paris for my next flight. My luggage did it make it. Not sure if that happened in Malta or Paris, though."
Prós: "Air Malta was on time and they had very friendly staff. They also didn't go crazy trying to charge extra for everything. And they feed you!!! wow."

Prós: "There were 4 of us flying from Atlanta, there was a great amount of leg room, tvs were nice, remote control for the tv fit into the seat, the way the plane was laid out, the 4 of us sat in a middle row, which meant no window seat (which my sister was disappointed), dinner options were great, wine was complementary"
Contras: "My only problem was that there wasn't any air flow and until someone told them how hot they think it is, it was a very sweaty situation. I couldn't sleep because of how hot it was and I didn't think to tell the crew because I didn't know they would care."

Well, I can no longer complain: I was very kindly invited to move across that curtain. Of course, in short haul (2-hours+) A321 flights, all seats are created equal, business or main cabin... But the attention was there, excellent service, and gourmet food too. The whole experience was great. I'll go on flying Air France with fewer regrets."

Contras: "The airline lost both of my bags and destroyed a twin seat stroller. Dealing with the personnel at the airport was very difficult since I didn't have one of my baggage tickets, they acted like they couldn't help me at all. They have computers and could have cross – checked with my name, but they refused to do so until I told him to try to use the one claim ticket that I did have. They did and the matter was eventually resolved, and I am awaiting my bags now at the place where I am staying."

Prós: "The gentleman at the check out his name was Omar went over and above the call of duty for Customer Service me being an American he walked me through each step of using flybe via air France and paying for checking my bags and even the carry on luggage and getting me through security etc."

Contras: "My boyfriend and I were required to gate check our carry-on luggage which required us to go through customs in Paris to get to our bag and re-enter security for our connecting international flight. I was unaware that the usb cord being inputted during taxiing As was my son. He was horrible to him!!"

Contras: "Boarding agent forced me to check in my carry-on even though the carry-on fit in the cage and fullfilled all the requirements. I specifically called Air France prior to the flight to make sure I won’t have any issues as my 1st flight was operated by Delta and I wanted to confirm the luggage requirements were the same. My carry-on weighted only 5 kilos. I was extremely upset the way I was treated w/ the boarding agent behind the counter in Prague. On the top of that, her and the supervisor were very rude to my mom as they told her she had an extra carry-on which wasn’t the case. She traveled w/ a small briefcase where her mask for sleep apnea was. This is not considered an additional carry-on. The boarding agent (Czech lady and her supervisor) were not only rude but obviously lacked knowledge as well. My carry-on suitcase would easily fit in the overhead bin plus there was plenty of space inside the plane as it the flight wasn’t completely full."
