Beautifull beach near our room. Very convinient accomodation. Snorkling is near the hotel (5minutes by swim) Very expensive food in hotel restorants.
at the end of the holiday season it was nice and quiet breakfast a bit expensive but plenty of choice (buffet)
The food service staff was horrible. If you dont want the buffet, you are in for a world of little to no real service. One on occassion, I waited 10 minutes before I placed my order, only to have the food brought to me 45 minutes later. On several other occassions, it took 10- 15 mins for refills on water and 30-40 mins became the norm when ordering a la carte.
Best place for family. Diving center is great. Sunset trip is nice. Other water activities are great. Nice golf if it is not raining. Food is regular.
Berjaya Tioman Resort is very integrated location that provide evrything for their guests, and they need not to get things outside the resort. There was no wifi in the rooms.
The chalats have a porch. Back to nature; animals like monkeys live there as well. Very good facilities and nice staff. Perfect beaches, and opportunity to dive. Chalet was a bit noisy, you could hear neighbours
Clean rooms, no bugs, ac worked great, staff was friendly and helpful, snorkeling off my porch basically, great beach, good local food IMO, take the jungle trek and waterfall massage with Musa the local guide - he's great! Lots about medicinal uses of plants, knows and can find the animals, and is a great natural historian. Lots of families and it seems a great place for kids. Kinda long day to get there and back - even from Singapore.
Nice beach , very relaxing Check-in was a mess , we aarrived by plane at 15:30 , and the room was only available at 16:30 , and this with the intervention of the resort manager
Nice clean beach, clear water many restaurants closed so choice for food was very limited. bars very disorganized. check in and check out took way too long
Nice beach view Rooms were not as reflected on website, only 2 out of 8 resturants were open and unable to go on trips the hotel organised as not peak season, this was not said when booking.
The best part was the Citra chinese shack restaurant outside the hotel gate, where the seafood was exquisite! Standard of food in Cafe Restaurant was somewhat average, but in The chinese Fortune House was poor. Frozen prawns overcooked and service very very slow. The bike hire was expensive and no info available about trips outside the hotel.
