facilities upgraded since last stay 2 years ago price is out of line for the nature of the motel
Andy, this is Manuel. Thanks very much for your educated manners. I see you soon.Manuel Fernandez. Motril, Granada, Spain. Take a look to the telephone line because I can't make any state and international calls. Thanks.
The staff was very corteous and attentive to your needs. The breakfast was perfect for on the go. The room was clean and the sheets smelled great. The price was right. The only thing was you can hear the traffic and noises outside.
Staff was nice, room and bathroom were clean. The continental breakfast the next morning was very adequate. Room was on the first floor and I could people waking around on the floor above me in the middle of the night. I thought that booking.com would save me $$, but I would have gotten the same rate if I had walked in with my AAA card.
Its proximity to the event to which I went. I would have considered putting the heaters up a bit on the wall leaving floor space for occupant activity.
Staff was quite courteous, even with a late evening check-in (the attendant walked me to my room as I was having trouble with the key!). The room was inviting, clean, with coffee available in my room. Would stay there again. A good value! I was relieved that there was parking within the hotel immediate area. Traveling alone, I would not have liked parking in the back lot late at night! But, the neighborhood seemed quite safe!
Was kept awake by noisy party in room next door that lasted from 1 am until 6 am- even though I called to complain twice and had to at four in the morning go to the office in my pajamas begging to get some peace, quiet and sleep. No luck. Air outside your door reeks of pot smoke no matter if you change rooms. Nothing is done about this. Staff not interested in checking these things out for themselves. Many respectable people stay here, yet so too do groups of people looking for a place to have noisy sex, drink and do drugs- meaning you will not get any sleep on certain nights and will have paid to involuntarily inhale drugs and be kept awake by nasty noise.
nada preço caro para pouca qualidade. Quarto antigo e sujo, café da manhã deplorável e aparencia horrível.
Transfer aeroporto-hotel-aeroporto, facilidade e localizaçao do transporte publico.
proximidade do aeroporto
Conveniência para o aeroporto. Wake-up call no tempo. Spartan ao ponto de nua. Andar lavados mas desgastado e manchado e móveis. Ambiente hostil barebones.
Perto do aeroporto.
Talvez 2. Café-da-manhã não é bom.
A qualidade do atendimento e a disponibilidade do pessoal da recepção.
The room has quit some space and good facilities. The breakfast is poor, as a matter of fact it isn't a breakfast at all.
Close to Stanford where my daughters is in the hospital. It's just ok. Pretty much a slightly better motel 6. Cheap and clean. That's it. Breakfast was ok. Not great.
Clean, well furnished, and good mattress.
It's location near san Francisco The Spa should be renewed and the rooms could use some refreshment as well.
NICE HOTEL , GREAT SERVICE AND ROOMS ARE CLEAN. NICE RENOVATION
I like this motel, will come again. Good service. Nice friendly staff.
I received good wireless service with a clean and comfortable room.
It has been upgraded and I would highly recommend this place.
I really liked staying here. It was very close to Cal train station. The room was clean, the beds were comfortable. I would highly recommend this place to everyone! The hotel was pleasant, with very courteous staff. Since the price was very low, we didn't really have high expectations when we arrived so what we did see we liked and found very acceptable. Not luxury but then again we didn't pay for luxury. If you want peace and quiet, which is what we wanted, this is perfect.
As seasoned travellers who have a reasonable sense for the level of security and cleanliness, my wife and I say that this 'hotel' is rated 'Unacceptable'. We will sleep in our car before sleeping here. \nI would not trust my family's safety in this area, and I certainly wouldn't leave anything of value in this hotel. The neighborhood is 'challenging' at best. If you read this and have doubts, then I can only suggest this; Having travelled into Mexico, Belize, Canada, Europe and USA; we have seen and travelled into 'poverty' and stayed there. \nHowever, this is one of those 'hotels' that is a 'NO WAY'\n
the motel is very small but the people are very nice. we had trouble with the t.v. and they fixed right away. I would stay there again
Great price, comfortable rooms, great food options nearby. Overall, this place isn't fancy but I would stay again for the value.
My husband and I had went to CA .We wanted to visit SF. so we intended to stay south of the city. I was concerned because it was such a reasonable price for the room. Seems you get what you pay for, quite often. I was so thrilled to find a very very nice room, a small fridge and microwave, pretty quiet and safe. We were even more thrilled to find a grocery store a block away and the either way. After spending time in the city, we were VERY please with our choice of location, and specifically hotel. We will definately stay at San Carlos Inn again.
I was pleasantly surprised with my stay. I would highly recommend.
For some reason, this hotel has received positive reviews on some online travel sites; unbelievable. I stayed at this establishment once and in doing so was able to determine that I will never stay here again. Upon arriving, the staff was rude and not very accommodating. I was checked into a room upstairs that was in complete disrepair and possessing a foul odor. The bathroom needed work to bring it up to 1950's standards. The towels and linens were threadbare. I had to cover the pillowcases with my own clothes so that my face and head were not subjected to hairs and anything else that happened to be present. Lastly, the lock on the front door was broken so I had to work to ensure the room was secure. The aforementioned are the highlights of this facility. When one considers its fairly consistent cost structure, you are far better served sleeping in your car.
San Carlos Inn is nice place to stay in the San Francisco bay area. I am happy with my stay at this hotel. Nice, very clean and quiet. I checked in 2 am with no issue clerk was very nice and helpful. Very safe neighborhood its very easy to get train for San Francisco. There are numerous great restaurant in San Carlos Downtown near by. The front Desk was friendly and courteous--we asked for extra pillow and towel and they provided with no problem. Bed was comfortable and the TV had lots of channels. I don't understand why people are so picky- this isn't some fancy five-star place. This is the kind of place I like to stay at.
Everything was OK except for 2 things (see below). 1) The wired Internet connection didn't work. The wireless connection didn't work either. The customer service (responsible for the connection) could not help and offered to fix it later but I didn't have time for that. 2) The toilet got jammed easily.
Close to see my daughter at SFO state university
It was great staying at Hampton Inn. The staffs were really friendly and nice.
in house breakfast poor standard of first room offerrefd
Smooth check-in. Found a nice spot for parking. The receptionist even gave us two water bottles during both check-in and check-out Nothing bad to report. Will definitely stay again.
It was a very nice room, comfortable, clean, and plenty of room. The shower/toilet area was also separated from the sink, which allowed each of us to get ready without over crowding the bathroom It was a touch on the expensive side for a 3-star hotel, but it was also World Series weekend so all prices were elevated
All features of a high end motel
I have stayed in this Hotel on 3 separate occasions and they have all been quite pleasant. Its a convenient place close enough to San Francisco, the view is awesome both at the hotel and driving (unless your room faces the freeway). Facilities are upkept and the staff is friendly. Walls are a little too thin, I can hear everything next door, including the crying kid which was a bit annoying. Also, we found an earring behind the bed.
We arrived a day early. We were able to get a room, but the next day we were told we had to leave the room and couldn't check in until later in the day into a different room because our reservation was not for a "premium " room. Sheet checking in the standards room, the only difference was that our refrigerator did not have a freezer, night light did not phone chargers attached, and the tv was smaller. This was a huge inconvenience which could have ben prevented. Also on firts night if our stay, we did not receive a parking pass and were not asked for any mind of id when paying. There was hair in the shower of the "premium " room.
The view from the room was spectacular. The staff was very accommodating, genuinely friendly. Hidden Gem. The carpet didn't match anything.
The view was lovely, and the fireplace in the room was great. I also enjoyed the continental breakfast delivered to the room. All very nice. I feel strongly that the Inn at Oyster Point is overpriced for the quality that was presented. The bed was lumpy, the pillows were flat, cheap covers on the bed, and threadbare carpet. We were also told we would have free transport to the airport, but because we left early -- we paid an additional $30 for a cab ride. For $175 a night in San Fran, I can do much, much better. I could have just as easily stayed at one of the corporate hotels down the road -- and will likely do so next time.
Friendly staff, very clean, good restaurant, perfect customer service no
This is a wonderful little hotel right off Oyster Point. The staff was friendly, the room comfortable and the location was perfect for seeing the city during the day and relaxing at night. The free parking and breakfast were added bonuses. This is now going to be our "go-to" hotel when visiting the bay area.
It is convenient to the San Francisco Airport, and has a restaurant on site. There is also a free shuttle bus every half hour.
courteous staff, clean rooms Room service breakfast was mediocre at best....coffee was terrible, didn't come with cream and sugar nor butter for pastries. It was as if someone slapped a few rolls on a plate...for $20.
Clean, comvenient Wireless not good enough
Staff was excellent and the restaurant food was delicious!
Location; well sound proofed from highway and airport noise; double queen beds
Always a comfortable bed, close to car rental return, good little restaurant, good wifi signal
The bartender was great and the bed was very comfortable
Very nice and clean room, bed was extremely comfortable. Staff and restaurant excellent. Close and convenient to airport. Shuttle service.
Convenient location by the airport. Lobby and dining area were adequate. The room was an awkwardly apportioned, two story renovation that the desk clerk referred to as "the penthouse suite." In terms of comfort and functionality, it was poorly thought out and did not represent the Sheraton brand well. If grading feng shui, this room would receive a zero. In the morning, there was a "discrepancy" resulting in no breakfast service at the time I needed it. One staff member said something about them trying to find a cook. The kitchen seemed poorly organized and under staffed. I will not return to this hotel.
close to San Fransisco International Airport
Not much, except it was reasonable near to the airport, but I could have got a closer hotel if I had researched enough Could not find my reservation, very poor internet reception ( I prefer to pay for my connection than have a really poor free connection), felt like a motel but did not have a motel price.
The price was a good value. The hotel is right next to a highway so the noise level is above average.
