The room was big with a great mountain view. Good location: the area is fantastic with many things to do. The hotel offers free bike-hire. The spa area is nice, the pool is nice but a bit cold, the gardens of the hotel are lovely, free-parking, food is good but not very varied. There was no fridge/mini-bar in the room, no Air-Conditioning, no tea/coffee facilities in the room, the shower (inside the bath) leaked onto the bathroom floor, and also it was cold one day, they tell you there is internet in every rooom but don't mention that most websites don't work and the computer is so old it crashes every 5 mins. The bed was uncomfortable. The buffets (breakfast and afternoon snack) were uncovered so there were lots of flies on the food. The staff are quite grumpy (except for one waiter who is really kind and friendly).
The high quality of the food; the friendliness and professionalism of the welcome which included being offered a drink while I registered; the wellness centre and the relaxed nature in which to enjoy it; the quality of the room and the services provided, including free internet access Staff at the bar could have been more attentive, as there were several evenings I opted not to have a drink because staff did not ask.
the staff is genuinely pleasant. The hotel is cosy, extremely clean, decorated in folk style with good taste. The pool has a beautiful modern design. The cuisine is very good.
the high standard ,
Good service, excellent kitchen
lovely hotel in a fantastic place would stay here again.
The rooms were fine. I liked the nespresso machine that was in the room. But it was quite cheap that at a 4 star hotel they made you pay for it, even though it was in the room, and usually those kind of teas and coffees are complimentary. The service was quite bad, It seemed there were 3 people working at the hotel, and they worked as everyone! The food was absolutly horrible! There was no portier. The reception was already empty at 5 pm... and you could bearly reach them by phone.
Very kind and helpful owner. Pleasant and well designed wellness area with swimming pool and saunas. Rooms not to big, but are enough for short weekend or week stay.
Everything. Spacious rooms, friendly people, very well organised. As it is a family-run hotel and a traditional building, you have the feeling of being at home. Quiet, nice view. Close to the city centre.
We enjoyed the location being close to local ammenities including restaurants, cable cars, and shopping. The indoor pool, jakuzi, sauna facilities were first class. The property was authentic Austrian in design and furnishings and we had a very pleasant warm welcome on arrival. The kitchen needs updating soon to keep to the standard of the rest of the property. Kitchen cupboard door to sink unit had a weak hinge and tap needed replacing as tended to drip on and off. Hot water took at least 5 minutes to come through to the bathroom at any time of day.
Hospitality of the owners was particularly good
The owner could not have been more helpful or charming. Credit card not accepted.
The staff is really nice and helpful!
Warm welcome, comfortable room with a fabulous balcony & view. Excellent breakfast. A well positioned hotel with a good position. All was good
Nice friendly atmosphere and close to all amenities.
Views from balcony. Breakfast room gemuetlich.
The friendliest landlady, I have ever met.
Everything. The location was fabulous, there was a great pizza place next to it, so dinner was set. They had good breakfast. The people were very nice. The room was beautiful! -
Hostess was great. Breakfast was fantastic. Great location. Great experience. No.
Good, friendly, comfortable hotel, close to town centre and main town access road.
The room was beautiful and the atmosphere very relaxed and friendly. Breakfast was excellent too.
Calm neighbourhood, clean and homely facilities, smilling staff, rich and enjoyable variety for breakfast, very very pleasant and especial sauna´s area (!!!)
Traditional Tirolean look combined with state-of-the-art amenities. A very comfortable stay and a hearty atmosphere at the hotel
breakfast was very poor.
A thoroughly enjoyable stay, through and through. The hotel is quietly situated, but in easy walking reach of the facilities of Mayrhofen, and central to the beautiful Zillertal and its tributary valleys and the hills and mountains either on foot, by car or public transport, or cable car. The food was outstanding for a hotel of this class, with ample variety of choice, and no repetition of menus during the 9 days of our stay.
Food excellent very good choice staff helpful rooms a good size with lovely views down the valley quiet location overall wonderful!!!
Perfect!! If I have a chance to visit Zillar tall , I want to stay again.
cleanness, everything is pretty arranged and decorated
Excellent location with ski-bus stop outside and fantastic food. Would recommend to all ++++
The Staff were very nice and helpful. Would definately stay there again. Didn't say goodbye or check out as I got a call in the night and had to get the train very early Saturday morning. As far as I am aware it was paid in full when I booked on line. It said in the information that there was an extra charge for cleaning the room. I think really that this should be included in the price. It would be better added on and hidden so to speak. Most people prefer a total price with no extras.
The staffs are very kind and the breakfast is great too.
Amazing hotel Excellent check-in Easy booking process Amazing view from the hotel None
Excellent value for money, close to the centre but quiet location.
Excellent location, good sized rooms and very clean and we where booked appartment for 6. When we arrived the had split us into two 4 bed appartments which gave us more room.
Nice location (a bit difficult to find the first time, though), very friendly, helpful and flexible staff, cosy home-like atmosphere, tidy. There are both ordinary (smallish) double rooms and apartment-type rooms with a kitchen corner in the first room and a separate bedroom. For us, this little family-run bed-and-breakfast-type place was a perfect “home base” for hiking in the mountains.
Being uppermost of the town centre was a little hard giong however once we found a short cut to the Penken ski lift, walking to the town centre became much easier. The view from our window & balcony was stunning. As our accompaning friends pointed out, 'we have never brushed our teeth to a more beautiful sight' . As usual, typical Austrian hospitality at the Apartments Austria.
friendlyness, clean quiet and beautiful location views from balcony and our bed were amazing!
The view. Friendliness. Proximity to village.Breakfast & Balcony
The view from the balcony and the breakfast room. Could not pay by Credit Card - ensure you have enough cash.
Very nice hotel, quiet but still part of Mayrhofen centrum. The de luxe rooms were comfortable with large stylish bathrooms.
So long distance to skiing cablecar
Freindly personal, good standard, good location, rooms with good standard. Good value for the money.
2nd year staying at the Marie Theresia Hotel for a short ski break. The free ski bus stops right beside the hotel before busy stops so there is no need to walk to the Penken gondola. The luxury rooms are very comfortable, lots of space and a fabulous bathroom with large shower and bath with bath salts (good for easing aches and pains after a full day skiing). Great breakfast and always a warm welcome from the staff and owner. It would be good to have a DVD player in the room for those not wishing to take part in the apres ski.
The friendliness of the staff, the room was very nice and the breakfast was just right. Great location and very clean. The only think was that there was no tea making facilities in the room, only a small thing, overall the hotel was great and i would definetily return.
Amazing staff!!!!!!! Everything that was asked was immediately taken care of. It was necessary to find someone from the staff to open the ski room for early departure.
Convenient access to Town's facilities. Peaceful and picturesque location. Unbelievable welcome by Hotel's Patrons. Very comfortable and ambient bar with extremely well stocked wine cellar.
Location, de luxe room was nice; okay breakfast. It was very dirty in the rooms, they never vaccumed them, and sometimes rooms were not ready after this so-called cleaning when we came back in the afternoon. There were problems with the parking lot, we had to fight for space, and our friends who came to visit were not appriciated by the hotel staff to leave their car outside.
The hotel was clean, up to date and run by friendly people. The beds were comfortable.and the bathroom was luxurious. i would stay there again. The glass door into the bathroom was a little odd. especially when staying with a friend.
We had an upgrade to a spacious double room with bathroom and seperate toilet in the room. Great.Breakfast was fine good choice of breads and cheeses. All staff lovely . Owner's wife and little boy there in hotel for breakfast made it seem very homely.Location was great views of mountains and paragliders from our 30 ft long wide balcony complete with loungers and table and chairs. So central for dining out at night.Huge choice of places to eat and drink in the town at night. We did not sample their dinner menu or use spa or bar as there was so much to do in town.Table tennis in basement. Underground carpark an added bonus in the heat.
