Good location(halfway of the bus station and train station), and the old-fashioned room. A little strict staff, and poor breakfast.
Hotel personell was friendly and nice Hotell itself is an old and shabby place, not renovated from 70's
A pleasant and friendly place with clean rooms and excellent breakfast. The road outside was a little noisey
Breakfast was excellent. Not far from railway station. Front-rooms very noisy. Traffic 24 hours!
Excellent location. Good restaurant. Slightly noisy rooms.
The hotel is quite expensive for what you get. There were rusty pipes in the bathroom. The first digit of the room number that is on the door was missing. The breakfast was very very basic. In fact I eat only crackers and cheese. Despite this, I belive that this was good choice of hotel because Narvik is very small town and I didn't see many other hotels. Otherwise the room was clean and the personnel very helpful. The hotels in Norway are expensive in general so maybe the rate for this hotel is normal for the standard.

Good food, comfortable rooms, nice staff. Good availability The room smelt a bit of smoke.
Very good support at the front desk personell
What I liked the best was the place of the hotel - near the mountains and gondol. A quite and central place. -
Friendly atmosphere, a lot of wood used in the building gives a rustic appearence to the hotel. A very twisted and complicated way to arrive at your room.
The breakfast was okay. The hotel staff was rude. The hotel is located far from the Narvik station and centre. The hotel reception is located in the kitchen. I never experienced this before. When you talk to the hotel staff it smells food.
Comfortable rooms, friendly staff and Excellent breakfast buffet Little over my budget, but great price/quality for the location
The staff was exceptionally nice--let us use the laundry facilities and helped us with other details. The dinner and breakfast buffets were good. This hotel is extravagantly priced as is all of Norway. It is a bit out of the way, fortunately the bus driver from Bodo actually drove us to the hotel (!); otherwise it would have been a tough uphill walk with suitcase and backpack.
I found it very relaxing. The views, the country air of the hotel. Country lodge like. It is a steep climb to the hotel, for those without 'Narvik legs'
old, not very comfortable room, not clean feeling
wi-fi internet was not free
Good location and nice helpful staff. Right next to the cable car which ran late in to the night. The buffet available for other guests when a coach party was in was not very good and would not be worth having so we had to eat elsewhere.
The people who run this guesthouse seem to be understanding. My flight was delayed and I missed my connection to Narvik, but still they were able to cancel my reservation without charge. I am so grateful to the manager for that. Not being able to stay here. It seemed to be the best accommodation of all my reservations. Distance from the bus station. You have to get a taxi, which would cost about $20 US.
