Attentive staff like I've never seen before. Taking care of every need and going above and beyond to make you happy. The hotel is a little old and could probably use a face lift.

Location, view At checkin, Roger sat us down and energetically told us our room was not ready (we were early) and suggested we upgrade. I said no, so he asked me if we "really wanted" the room we had reserved. I explained we were tired from the long trip and asked if he could watch our bags and we would return later. He persisted in excitedly selling the upgrade. At checkout, no one could explain why I was charged 40 dollars more than what was listed on the bill. (The visa receipt did not match the folio) Of course it was the 10 percent charge at checkout that does appear in the booking email. These games were surprising at an spg hotel. .Everyone Was very nice while they created a sense of confusion that (of course) costs the traveler money. (I am sure worse for those who speak no spanish).
For us it was a "new experience" as it was our first time to Cusco. Get to know new place to stay Given the facilities and location and that it really caters for tourists, very much over priced
Very helpful portering staff and excellent tour company as part of the hotel. Room comfortable but basic; Buffet breakfast a little disappointing and supper one night was just ok. Always someone available to speak some English which was very helpful
Friendly staff, clean rooms. Internet didn't work in rooms (we stayed in two different rooms, neither had wifi connection, despite the hotel saying there was access everywhere), extremely loud -- both street noise and other guests, restaurant closed one night for a "private party" (it was an unfortunate coincidence that we planned to eat at the hotel that night), no bags in room for laundry service, provided bottled water that required bottle opener, but there was no opener in the room, delivered someone else's laundry to our room. We spent less on a Radisson in Lima, and it was way, way nicer than this place.
