The hotel was very good for the the price i paid. Clean. As it was 15 min from the train station there was no immigrants around. Was very calm outside. Save. The breackfast was amazing!
Staff was nice, spoke many languages. This is a hostel, not a hotel meant for families.. Pool was in a dark room with black lights, looked like a nightclub scene. Very loud inside and out, even at 3am. Beware if you are over 25, you are too old to stay here.
We stayed in the private double room. Pretty good location, 10 minutes from the train station. Nice pool area and sauna. Friendly people working at the counter. Not very comfortable beds and quite ugly room, really cold floor. You can hear every voice from the hallway. Weird smell in the hallway and in the room as well.
The hostel has great amenities such as pool, extensive breakfast, a small gym and multiple bars. The rooms were also very modern, clean and had air conditioning. There are already 20-30 busabout people on the main entry getting in the way and occasionally loosing their breakfast in the stairs nearby.
Everything was very easy. The private room was wonderful, large. Breakfast was great a large selection of sweet and savory. Walkable to everything. Laundry on premise. Workout room only had cardio machines. It would be nice if there was an electrical outlet near the bed so you could charge and read at the same time.
The bed was terrible, there was a bar digging into my hip/ lower back all night. One toilet and one shower for a room of 16 is not enough. There was some sort of construction or something happening on the floor above me from 5am to 9pm. No kitchen, which is dumb. It's a massive facility, so there are huge tour and school groups there all the time.
The private rooms are like a 4 star hotel excellent location as well I really enjoyed my stay
It was centrally located and the rooms were spacious with all standard amenities except the electrical outlets. There was only (1).....seriously (1), outlet in the entire room. A mixed dorm room with 4 bunk beds and only (1) outlet doesn't make for friendly environments and happy customers. The price for the room was comparable but the foot, laundry, and drinks were completely over priced.
The Hostel Archi Rossi is an interesting hybrid. The original part is a slighly upmarket hostel, complete with cafeteria style meals (why come to Italy for a cafeteria meal!), a load of computers for free internet access, a many backpackers. However, the Hostel has purchased the hotel next door so now comprises a hostel and very nice three star hotel with the latter at prices not much higher than the hostel, at least on the web. This means for a very reasonable price you can enjoy an extremely clean, comfortable and reasonably equipped hotel room (fridge, large shower, comfortable bed) and, most importantly, two gorgeous courtyards to relax in (an original one and one between the two parts of the hotel) as well as free internet. The free breakfast is truly cafeteria style, though the omlettes are really first rate and coffee should be skipped. Still, all the pluses make up for the average breakfast and for 90 cents you can step out the door and walk 40 metres to the left for a terrific coffee.
This hostel has a very good location, being very close to the train station and 10 minutes walk from the major attractions. We got a nice & quiet room (they named it deluxe room) and for going there we had to cross the hostels' garden - a very nice place, i would like to be there in summer! Room was clean, with nice furniture, the bathroom was big. For breakfast we had to choose between some fixed menu, but it was ok, we had enough options (and got for no extra price croissant and orange juice). The good part of this is that we had fresh food, cooked especially for us (eggs and bacon). I saw very good prices for dinner menu, but as we didnt had the time to eat there, I couldnt say if the food its good or not. Free internet its a plus The restaurant looks a little like a place where students go to have cheap meals, so thats why my husband, who has about 20 years more than most of the clients of this hostel (young people, around 25) find a little diffficult to addapt. I felt like I was a student again, so for me it was ok.
The front desk staff was excellent. They provided good instructions on how to get to the hostel and detailed directions for getting to the tourist site we wanted to see. Although we stayed one night, they were kind enough to hold our bags after check out so we could explore Florence luggage free. Thank you front desk staff! Super nice and competent at their job. The hostel was easy to find and in a central location. The beds are uncomfortable cots. It was chilly in the room, which made the bedding feel damp. We woke up a little later than planned and requested to have an extra half hour to shower and change before checking out. The front desk okayed it, which was appreciated however, the information was not communicated to the housekeeper. The housekeeper knocked on our door several times, I explained to her that we were allowed to stay for another half hour to shower. She didn't seem to understand or maybe she just didn't care. She rudely told us we had 5 minutes and left.
Ambiente familiar, limpeza, atenção do proprietário com o hóspede. Duche frio na maior parte do tempo, estava com defeito. Porém, falando com o proprietário ele ligava por alguns instantes.
A localização. O hotel, na verdade é um bed & breakfest, estava muito mal arrumado e mal sinalizado, pagamos por um quarto com banheiro dentro e, no entanto, nos deram um quarto com apenas um chuveiro e uma pia.
This is a charming older complex of several rooms. Everything is clean and decorated perfectly. Small terrace and view that screams Italian charm. Management is very accommodating and friendly. The location to the main sights in Florence couldn't be better. Less than a 5 minute walk to Uffizi, Duomo, Galileo museum, Arno River, and much more. The beds and pillows could of been more comfortable.
