Prós: Location. Very much convenient to navigate around
The staff was very helpful and attentive. The street traffic is heavy most of the time but this is Bangkok and you just have to deal with it. In the evening you can enjoy what looks like hundreds of food vendors offering their specialties and drinks. You have not lived until you enjoy a Chinese noodle stand! The Chaopraya River, Wat (Temple) Arun, Royal Palace and river taxis are all close by to make your holiday a great experience. You will have a great time staying at the Chinatown Hotel, just remember you are in China Town, so enjoy the great experience!
Prós: Great location in Bangkok's Chinatown. Many, many places to eat. Easy to get taxi, tuk tuk or bus. Great area for sightseeing.
Contras: There is nothing bad to say about this hotel. We got exactly what we expected at this hotel.
Prós: It was noisy but much quieter than my most hotels I've been in so far in both Thailand and Cambodia. I've stayed at 3 hotels now and Check Inn China Town was the least noisy.
Contras: No one knew where this was, my airport shuttle dropped me off at the wrong hotel, I had to take a tuk-tuk to it. I had to find a landmark and guide them. Asking the staff for help is non-existent, I was told to go outside to find my destination.
