Nice size room, with double bed as requested, and decent bathroom size Excellent breakfast Very cold initially (no pre-heating), both in room and bathroom No hot towel rail in bathroom - so always a cold bathroom that steamed up when showering
I thought the Manchester Airport Marriott Hotel was outstanding. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room looked great and the bed was very comfortable. I thought the 5 pound charge for airport transfer was a bit steep. The airport is only about 5 minutes away! Also, I didn't like the fact that there were swimming lessons going on in the pool. It was subsequently a very noisy place. I don't think this is fair if hotel guests are paying so much to stay.
The gym and swiming pool. The staff were great. The kichen staff were excellent. They keep smiling during their service and the cook was fantastic as well taking care of my extra orders even if it was off their menu.
Nice Hotel for able bodied people. I booked a disabled room which I confirmed over the phone before my arrival only to find at check in that the disabled room had been given away to a large booking and I was left with a totally unsuitable room. This ruined my stay. Reception said they had double booked my room. Able bodied people got the disabled room.
Meal in the restaurant was very nice and the reception staff and concierge/porters were excellent. Nothing
Really enjoyed leisure facilities. Good airport and rail links. Food prices high with little option ofeating elsewhere unless prepared to travel into Manchester.
the value for money is brilliant and prices are extremely affordable making the stay so much more comfortable and enjoyable.
Restaurant welcoming, cheff good at breakfast. Mini bar in room not operational, bolt on room door wasn't working, found stickers inside bed on sheets. No lift down to room.
The quality of the bedlinen, and the bed and pillows - ensured a super nights sleep ! Bar area lacked athmosphere and seemed quite cold
The bed was very comfortable Hotel quite old fashioned
My original room was dirty, overheated with stained marked furniture, but the v.v.hot pipes made it impossible to sit, never mind sleep in. The receptionist on duty was v.helpful and managed to get me another room, still hot, but because it had more air coming in I could sleep. The heat from the pipes running through the room was at a dangerous level. I would not have taken a child into those rooms. I had to sleep with only the duvet cover, no duvet. This wasn't during a spell of hot weather!
friendly helpful receptionist Lift had been broken for a week and still not repaired - we were on the 3rd floor - fortunately we were only staying one night as we were in Hale for a wedding. There was no parking on site. Street parking was payable from 8.00am.
Quiet rooms with comfortable beds The local car park details in the hotel were out of date and dispite their bochure saying every room had a trouser press I could not find one in room 116
The facilities were poor, needs updating Decor and poor quality food, ate out
Great location and excellent value for money. Really nice breakfast and nice touch with the complimentary bottle of wine. Overall making for a very positive experience. Room was not as clean as it might be. Not a problem that the amenities were only basic, but carpet and beds looked like well overdue for replacement.
The location. having a beer outside in the sunshine during Happy Hour. Would benefit from revamped bathroom. Better information passing to night staff.(request for early breakfast was not relayed) This happenened during our last stay also.
Availability at a time of high demand and proximity to airport The room was in the middle of being re-decorated, smelled of paint, window was open to try and clear fumes and room had been pressed back into service to take advantage of high demand
The service was very good and an excellent buffet breakfast was available. The location was also very convenient. It would have been better if there was a private hotel for customers as we had to park in the supermarket car park and there did seem to be a problem with gangs in the vacinity of the hotel. I think this was because it was a Friday night. We have previously visited on a sunday and it was very quiet.
good allround, simple rooms, everything worked and was clean + near the rail station. one staff member was very irritated when i asked for a receipt after paying cash for an extra night and no internet access afterall, (although local library was geat for that!)
The staff were wonderful, very friendly and helpful The bath was extremely slow to fill and the shower flow was almost non-existent
ate locally; caught a plane the next morning would have liked access to a business center in the hotel where we could check email and such
i always stay here when going to old Trafford the rooms are good and staff are plesant, trams and buses are close by.
Use the Cresta Court regulary so know it veru well. Staff, rooms etc are excellent That they have closed down the restaurant for evening meals. The Townsend cafe is not nice to eat alone in.
The beds were comfortable, room clean, ideal for an overnight stay, handy for the Metro into Manchester. The room was small.
The cleaniness of the hotel and the homely atmosphere. Welcomed the service of an obliging driver and a courtesy bus to take us from hotel to the airport.
Was let down with wake up call
Good location, friendly staff. Breakfast very good, did not try restaurant but looked very nice. Booked superior room [was worth the extra cost]the room was okay [but could not turn radiator down, was fixed on hot], friends booked a standard room, was small and needed a good hoover.
Well presented and clean rooms Expenssive drink prices
None My iron blow up in my room water pipes banging @ 5.30am
The most reeming factor of this hotel is the location. It is sufficiently close to Manchester airport wthout all the hustle & bustle. Accomodation was not very warm until the thermostat was located behind a chair. The restaurant was cold and the breakfast was not very inspiring. The evening meal was a disastor resulting in eating in the local balti house, which incidently was excellent.
the proximty to where i wanted to be & the great value for money
Quiet, comfortable & clean room. Separate from bar. Delicious bar food! Very helpful staff.
Good value for money. Pub menu varied and food of good quality, so we were happy to eat on site.
Pleasant quiet room A little slow booking in as receptionist had gone elsewhere
Staff very pleasant and helpful. Breakfasts very good, very friendly cook. Only area of negative comment, a barman in the public house seemed to be unable to raise a smile, appeared pretty unhappy in his job.
Good English breakfast, well equipped and spacious room. Member of staff being dismissed at breakfast, poor continental breakfast.
Very clean and comfortable room, plenty of tea and coffee available. Music a bit loud in pub next door.
Room was warm
Cheap and cheerful. Good value for money if you;re not too bothered about slightly shabby decor in rooms. As for question 2.
Room service food was wrong first time round and then overcooked and tasteless second time. I put a request for breakfast in my room which was ignored. I had to then race for a breakfast in the dining room where i had to make my own tea/coffee, the hot food was overcooked and the milk was warm
Location and close proximity to Motorways and town The carpets wore worn on the steps and came away from the metal grips underneath and there was poor sound insulation with a regular sound of some type of motor from within the hotel each morning from 08:30
The food was good. the staff tried hard to please decorative standard and cleanliness of rooms (I tried 2) was poor. holes in the wall and noisy boiler room in first. was quickly moved to their credit but fan and telephone did not work in second room. my hair dryer blew up and theirs cut out I left after that completing my stay elsewhere.
Overpriced. Breakfast bland.
Leisure facilities The breakfast was drying up under the heat of the lamps instead of just being kept hot.
My wife used to the facilities in the leisure center, and we ate dinner in the dining room. The hotel rooms are in need of refurbishment.
Price and location was very good - and it was good value for money. Although the room was very clean and comfortable, the room size was not very big.
location room, food
location no apparent control over tv volume after 01-00.am from other guests why not provide ear phones like on aircraft.
The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. We would recommend the Premier Inn to others and will stay here again.
Had difficulty in initially finding hotel as several in area. Satnav does not take full postcode, only first part. Satnat requested door number. Phoned hotel to ask door number to help in finding hotel. Staff did not know door number. Would really help if staff knew complete address and details as to assit guests in finding them.
Very clean and well equipped. Comforatble bed and excellent shower. Fried eggs were hard! However that would not stop me from re-booking.
Easy access to Town not far to go to Airport Nice Shops And market in Area No soap or Shampoo In shower Dispenser only did one Shower
The excellent service provided by reception and breakfast room staff N/a
Convenient and close to business meeting The broadband was not working and could not be fixed for whole visit
Very centrally located Shower curtain smelly
Friendly staff Small carpark spaces
